An independant Parental control application for “child-friendly” streaming platform

With the advent of internet and ground-breaking technology, Parents would love the possibility of moderating their children’s activities and manage screen time. TeeVee is an on-demand streaming application where children from the ages of 6-14 can stream their content at any given time.

TeeVee requires a tablet application that allows parents to moderate their children’s activities while allowing kids to independently and safely use the streaming platform on device on choice.

With Teevee, my first step was to understand the painpoints of parents had, and perform an analysis of competing solutions. My hypothesis and my design directions oriented around my findings. These directions evolved into building all the vital components needed.

The result was an easy-to-use tablet application with a delightful interface detailing the unique offerings of Teevee family group and the value they offer parents/guardians.

To ensure the success of this project, through collaborative effort of client and designer, we constantly found ourselves holding content, user experience and visual communication under equal tension

I also explored a range of components as part of my process to ensure scalability and to guarantee consistency and product integrity for onboarding parents (users)
